First Day of School

I can't believe how big Sean and Donovan are. They look like teenagers... wow. Sorry to hear about the placement issues with Brooklyn. I can't even imagine how painful it is to have her leave. Ethan and I have considered being foster parents, but it's the painful goodbyes I don't think I could handle. We have family friends in Wisconsin that do foster care. They had 8 kids of their own, and now they've adopted 4 more that came to them as foster kids (infants). The mom says it's because she can't stand to part from them. Her husband is convinced they'll be raising young kids their entire lives. I hope it passes soon. Smile. You did a good thing for Miss Brooklyn in giving her a safe home.
