Bad to Good

This morning started out kind of bad for Matthew. He was pretty down, and it was so hard to not be able to do more for him. Before I got him his breakfast I gave him a long hug, I don't know if it made him feel better or set me up for a joke because after a bit he told me to let go. He said that I was squishing him, and then he started laughing. He is such a joker. After that he seemed to be brighter but I knew he needed more. So, after Alayna came home from school we went to the theaters and watched Eight Below. It was a really good movie and the kids had a good time. Matthew has been pretty happy for the rest of the day. Hopefully the days will start getting a bit easier for him.
